The Department of Consumer Affairs (DACO) released an update on gasoline prices in Puerto Rico, which are fluctuating due to the conflict in the Middle East and disruptions in oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz. As of June 25, the price of regular gasoline is expected to range between $0.98 and $1.02 per liter, premium gasoline between $1.10 and $1.19, and diesel between $1.11 and $1.16.
The conflict and supply disruptions have caused fuel prices to surge.
