The Department of Consumer Affairs (DACO) released an update on gasoline prices in Puerto Rico, which are fluctuating due to the conflict in the Middle East and disruptions in oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz. As of June 30, regular gasoline prices are expected to range between $1.00 and $1.06 per liter, premium between $1.14 and $1.22, and diesel between $1.12 and $1.19.
The conflict and supply disruptions have led to a surge in fuel prices on the island.
