The Department of Consumer Affairs (DACO) has published an update on gasoline prices in Puerto Rico, which are fluctuating due to the conflict in the Middle East and disruptions in oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz. As of June 26, the price of regular gasoline is expected to range between $0.99 and $1.06 per liter, premium gasoline between $1.13 and $1.22, and diesel between $1.12 and $1.19.
The conflict and supply disruptions have led to a surge in fuel prices on the island.
