The Puerto Rico government, led by Secretary of State Rosachely Rivera Santana, will open relief centers on Sunday, June 28, to collect donations for those affected by the earthquakes in Venezuela. The centers will remain open until Thursday, July 2, in various municipalities across the island, including Ponce, Manatí, Mayagüez, Fajardo, and Guaynabo.
Donations of medical supplies, non-perishable food, personal hygiene products, and other essential items will be accepted. The government has received calls from citizens, organizations, and municipalities interested in collaborating with the effort.
The relief centers will operate on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from Monday to Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The government is working to coordinate the effort and facilitate the collection of donations to support the people of Venezuela.
