A shooting last night left one man dead and another wounded in the El Culebrina housing development in San Sebastián, Puerto Rico, according to the Puerto Rico Police. Per a preliminary report, the incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. on Flamboyán Street after a 9-1-1 call reported gunfire in the area.
Officers from the San Sebastián police district arrived and found two men with gunshot wounds in different parts of their bodies. One of the men died at the scene due to the severity of his injuries; his identity has not yet been released by authorities.
The second man was transported for medical treatment, and his condition has not been disclosed. The investigation is being handled by agents of the Homicide Division of the Bureau of Criminal Investigations (Cuerpo de Investigaciones Criminales) in Aguadilla, working alongside the prosecutor on duty.
