The Criminal Investigations Corps of Humacao is investigating the discovery of a charred body in a remote area of Maunabo, according to the Police Press Office. The incident occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
The events were reported on PR-759 highway, kilometer 9.6, in the Matuyas neighborhood of Maunabo. The preliminary report indicates that a car with a charred body inside was found at the scene.
The identity and gender of the deceased are currently unknown.
