A charred body was found inside a burned car on a road in Maunabo, according to the Police. A call at around 4:15 p.m. on Friday alerted authorities to a vehicle on fire with a possible corpse inside.
Upon arriving at PR-759, near kilometer 9.6 in the Matuyas Bajo neighborhood, agents found the burned vehicle and confirmed the body inside. Agents from the Homicide Division of the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) in Humacao are in charge of the investigation.
The discovery was made on a carretera, or road, in Maunabo.
