A 33-year-old woman identified as Amanda M. Rodríguez Rivera faces criminal charges for allegedly sexually assaulting, committing lewd acts against, and abusing a 9-year-old boy in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Authorities said the incidents occurred between 2018 and 2019. Judge Alfrida Tomey Imbert of the San Juan Court of First Instance found probable cause for arrest on all charges filed and set a global bail of $400,000.
Rodríguez Rivera was unable to post bail and was booked into prison. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for July 28.
