Woman Charged with Sexually Assaulting Minor in San Juan

Puerto Rico Police reported that a 32-year-old woman, identified as Amanda M. Rodríguez Rivera, a San Juan resident, faces charges for allegedly sexually assaulting, committing lewd acts against, and abusing a minor. According to an investigation by the Sex Crimes and Child Abuse Division of the San Juan Bureau of Criminal Investigations, the incidents date back to October 4, 2025, when Rodríguez Rivera allegedly engaged in this pattern of abuse against the minor.

Judge Alfrida Tomey Imbert Irizarry of the San Juan Court found probable cause for arrest and set bail at $400,000. Rodríguez Rivera was booked into the Bayamón jail after failing to post bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for July 28.
