The Department of Consumer Affairs (DACO) released an update on gasoline prices in Puerto Rico, which have been fluctuating due to the conflict in the Middle East and disruptions in oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz. According to the update, regular gasoline prices should range between $1.02 and $1.07 per liter, premium between $1.16 and $1.25, and diesel between $1.23 and $1.32.
The conflict and disruptions have caused a surge in fuel prices on the island.
