The Department of Consumer Affairs (DACO) has released an update on gasoline prices in Puerto Rico, amid fluctuations in fuel costs on the island. According to the update, regular gasoline prices are expected to range between 98 cents and $1.02 per liter, premium between $1.12 and $1.20, and diesel between $1.13 and $1.21.
The prices have increased due to the conflict in the Middle East and disruptions in oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for global supply.
