The Santeros de Aguada defeated the Vaqueros de Bayamón 95-93 in overtime, extending the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) championship series. The win came on the 47th birthday of Santeros' manager Rafael 'Pachy' Cruz, who received the victory as a gift. The series will continue on Sunday at the Coliseo Ismael 'Chavalillo' Delgado, where Aguada will have the opportunity to tie the series.

Bayamón was forced to play with only two reinforcements due to the suspension of Damian Jones, but Jassel Pérez led the team with 25 points, six rebounds, and nine assists. The Santeros had six players in double digits, with Rigoberto Mendoza scoring 16 points. The team's bench scored 44 points, a significant improvement from the previous game.

Manager 'Pachy' Cruz expressed his pride in the team's performance, stating that they were able to compete by increasing their intensity and believing in themselves.
