Puerto Rico Governor Jenniffer González Colón announced that Waldemar Quiles Pérez, Secretary of the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DRNA), will also serve as a member of the Governing Board of the Puerto Rico Convention Center District Authority. DRNA's press office confirmed to Primera Hora that Quiles Pérez will remain head of the agency while holding both roles. The governor also named Jonathan García Rosado to the Board of Directors of the Puerto Rico School of Plastic Arts and Design Corporation, and Dr. Francisco J. Quintana González to the Medical Licensing and Discipline Board; these recess appointments take effect immediately.
Within the Judicial Branch, she designated municipal judges Sarah I. Velilla Núñez, Roberto Juan Hernández Ramos, and María del Pilar Vázquez Muñiz; Marieli Paradizo Pérez as Superior Judge (promotion); and superior judges Ilsa I. González Rivera, Celso Lorenzo Gutiérrez, Elmer Luis Cuerda Cruz, Mariela T. Santini Rodríguez, Raphael Rosado Anazagasty, and Jannat K. Ramos Román.
In the Department of Justice, she named Assistant Prosecutors I Jahdiel Carrasquillo Rivera and Wilfredo J. Santiago Vega; Assistant Prosecutors II (promotions) Meilynn Ramos Rivera and Dairene Santo Domingo Rivera; Assistant Prosecutor III Jorge L. Martínez Rivera; Assistant Prosecutor IV Limarí Cobián Lugo; and Children's Affairs Procurators Amarilis Rodríguez Nazario, Elizabeth Pitino Acevedo, and Ana Margarita Ruiz Ramos.
