Puerto Rico Police are investigating the death of a man in San Sebastián, reported around 2:10 p.m. Tuesday at the Andrés Méndez Liciaga public housing complex. According to a police press release, officers found the man's body in a crouched position behind Building 7, at the rear of the housing complex.
The report characterized the death as a killing but did not detail any signs of violence found on the body. Sergeant Juan Lasalle Pellot responded to the scene, which was secured by police. The case has been referred to the Homicide Division of the Bureau of Criminal Investigations (CIC) for the Aguadilla region.
The release also noted that, as of Monday, police had recorded 295 homicides so far this year, the same number of cases reported by the same date in 2025.
