The Puerto Rico Police are investigating the death of 66-year-old Israel López Pérez, whose body was found on Friday afternoon in a residence on Callejón del Fuerte in Aguadilla. Municipal police received a call about a suspicious situation and found López Pérez's body on the floor of the main bedroom, along with ten dogs. The police report did not detail if the body showed signs of violence.
The Homicide Division of the Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) in Aguadilla is handling the investigation. Prosecutor Víctor Román Pérez issued a report and ordered the body to be taken to the Forensic Sciences Institute (ICF) for an autopsy.
