According to the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority's (AAA) daily chart, 10 reservoirs recorded reductions in their water reserves over the past 24 hours as drought conditions continue to affect Puerto Rico. La Plata reservoir dropped 2 cm on Sunday to 44.52 meters, remaining at "operational adjustments" level, alongside Cidra, which stood at 400.16 meters. The Carraízo reservoir stayed at "observation" level after losing 2 cm, reaching 38.94 meters.
Also at observation level are Fajardo, down 2 cm to 46.67 meters, and Río Blanco, up 5 cm to 46.67 meters. At "safety" level, declines were recorded in Toa Vaca (1 cm), Carite (1 cm), Patillas (2 cm), Guayabal (5 cm), Lucchetti (7 cm) and Cerrillos (3 cm). Meanwhile, increases occurred in Matrullas (1 cm), Garzas (1 cm), Guayo (6 cm), Caonillas (5 cm) and Dos Bocas (14 cm), which supplies water to the "Superaqueduct" serving some metro-area sectors.
Loco and Guajataca reservoirs remained unchanged. The Guineo reservoir in Orocovis gained 2 cm, rising within "overflow" level to 902.29 meters.
