The mayor of Vega Baja, Marco Cruz Molina, announced that approximately 400 employees will receive a $600 bonus to help with the increasing cost of living. A total of 485 employees will be impacted by this payment, which is part of a $291,000 disbursement authorized by the municipal legislature in September. According to Cruz Molina, the bonus aims to provide additional support to municipal employees and help alleviate some of their expenses.
