Armed men stole a red 2020 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie pickup from a man in the Country Club neighborhood of Carolina early Tuesday, in what the Puerto Rico Police Bureau investigated as a carjacking. Agents from the Carolina North Precinct responded to the area at about 5:42 AM after a call to the 9-1-1 Emergency System alerted authorities to the incident.
According to preliminary information, the complainant reported that three individuals, through threats and intimidation with firearms, took the truck, which carries Puerto Rico license plate 1059934. The vehicle has a green sticker as a distinguishing feature, though its description and where it is placed were not specified. No injuries were reported as a result of the events.
Agent Orlando Rosario of the Carolina North Precinct conducted the preliminary investigation and referred the case to the Robbery Division of the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) of Carolina.
