The Puerto Rico Police are investigating a carjacking that occurred on PR-159 in the Quebrada Arenas neighborhood of Toa Alta. According to preliminary information, a woman was inside her 2018 Hyundai Kona when a masked individual, using a firearm and intimidation, stole the vehicle.
The woman was not injured during the incident. The suspect fled the scene in the stolen vehicle.
Agent Jimmy Flores, assigned to the Toa Alta District, conducted the preliminary investigation and referred the case to the Robbery Division of the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) in Vega Baja, which will continue the investigation. No arrests have been made in connection with this case.
