An elderly man was found dead on Sunday afternoon at a residence in the Casey neighborhood of Añasco, at kilometer 6.6 of PR-406, according to a Puerto Rico Police report. The man was identified as Rafael Quiñones Mercado, 83 years old.
Before the discovery, a call to the 9-1-1 Emergency System alerted authorities to a person who had suffered a fall at that location. The case is being investigated by personnel from the Homicide Division of the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) of Mayagüez.
