A 38-year-old man, José Nazario González, was attacked with a machete by three individuals outside a bar in Manatí early Tuesday. According to the police report, Nazario González was sitting on the sidewalk in front of the business La Curvita Sport and Grill in the Polvorín neighborhood of Manatí at about 1:51 AM when three men got out of a black vehicle and, without a word, attacked him with a machete.
He suffered a wound to one of his limbs and was taken to Hospital Doctor Center de Manatí, where the physician on duty diagnosed a wound to the elbow of his left arm. Nazario González filed a complaint with the Police on Monday night about the assault. Manatí municipal police officer Roberto Rosario Alvarado investigated the case before referring it to the personnel of the Assault Division of the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) of Arecibo.
