The Puerto Rico Tourism Company, in collaboration with the Miss Universe Organization (MUO), announced a national casting to select 60 Puerto Rican girls aged 7 to 9, who will take part in a special experience during the Miss Universe 2026 celebration in Puerto Rico. Auditions and the selection process will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Centro Cultural Yolanda Guerrero in Guaynabo, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The call is part of preparations for the 75th edition of Miss Universe, which will bring representatives from different countries to the island.
The Tourism Company’s executive director, Willianette Robles Cancel, said the initiative aims to give the 60 girls a special experience that inspires them to dream big and strengthens their confidence, while integrating new generations into an internationally projected event that celebrates talent and diversity. Ronald Day, chief executive officer of the Miss Universe Organization, said the 75th anniversary celebration will be historic and that the girls will be part of an important moment in the pageant’s history.
The company said events of this scale strengthen Puerto Rico’s positioning as a destination for major international shows. Girls interested in participating must attend with a parent or legal guardian.
