Senator Juan Oscar Morales denounced on Tuesday that Puerto Rico’s Treasury Department (Hacienda) has failed to respond to an information request he made about the company Lab Consulting, saying the agency has been in noncompliance since Thursday. The senator said the requested documents are essential to continue an investigation related to Coccoloba AgroEnvironmental LLC. "The Treasury Department is in noncompliance since Thursday. I requested information about this company, which to me is of vital importance, and Treasury has not answered our request," Morales said on Radio Isla 1320.

He also questioned how Coccoloba received a score in the economic category when, according to him, that criterion did not appear in the evaluation document. Given Treasury’s lack of response, Morales did not rule out going to the courts to obtain the information.
