Puerto Rico Cocktail Week (PRCW), a nonprofit dedicated to developing Puerto Rico’s hospitality industry, will hold its eighth edition from November 8 to 14, with main events November 8 to 10. The opening party is at the ILA events hall on Ave. Kennedy, featuring a mixology showcase, local food and live music. The Industry Day educational program runs November 9 and 10 at the Hotel Rumbao in Old San Juan, with seminars by international figures.
The Bartender’s Face Off Competition takes place November 10 at La Factoría in Old San Juan, with speed and flavor deciding who advances; proceeds go to the Tip Jar program fund. Guests include Jean Trinh, founder of Alquímico in Cartagena, Colombia, ranked No. 3 on The World’s 50 Best Bars; Juan David Zapata of Medellín Cocktail Week; Mohammad Aljaff of Schmuck NYC; and Alex Smith of the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation.
"In this edition we bring together top-level international guests," said Roberto Berdecia, PRCW co-founder. The Official Bar Guide 2026-2027 lists more than 50 local establishments, and official bars will host guest shifts from November 11 to 14. PRCW Tip Jar supports hospitality workers facing hardship from illness, accidents or natural disasters. "We are proud to celebrate eight years," said Deliana Olmo, founding partner.
