Tropical Depression Two remains far from Puerto Rico, located about 1,414 miles from San Juan and moving northwest at just 3 mph with sustained winds of 35 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center. Elsewhere, public safety concerns marked the day on the island. In Yabucoa, a 35-year-old woman was shot while talking with a neighbor.
