Caja de Muertos

Caja de Muertos is an uninhabited island nature reserve located off the south coast of Puerto Rico. It is ringed by a healthy reef inside a marine sanctuary.

The island is accessible by boat trips from Ponce, which reach coral walls and gardens in the clear, warm water of the southern Caribbean. Diving is a popular activity at Caja de Muertos, taking advantage of the consistently calm conditions that make it suitable for diving year-round.
