Oscar Collazo Moves Up to 112 Pounds to Fight for International Title

Oscar 'El Pupilo' Collazo, a Puerto Rican boxer, will move up to the 112-pound category to fight Neider Valdéz Aguilar for the International title of the World Boxing Organization (OMB). This is a drastic change for Collazo, who had planned to risk his 105-pound title. The fight will take place at the Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California.

Collazo weighed in at 110 pounds for the 12-round bout. He stated that he will not vacate his 105-pound titles for now and will determine later whether to stay or move down in weight. The original opponent, Joey Canoy, was unable to obtain a visa to enter the United States, and Valdéz Aguilar took his place after negotiations with the OMB.

Collazo feels comfortable at the new weight and plans to follow a defensive strategy in the fight.
