Toa Alta is a town and municipality on the northern coast of Puerto Rico, set inland south of Dorado and Toa Baja, north of Naranjito, east of Vega Alta and Corozal, and west of Bayamón. It lies about 11 miles from San Juan and forms part of the San Juan-Caguas-Guaynabo metropolitan statistical area.
The municipality spans roughly 71 square kilometers and is organized into nine barrios, including Toa Alta Pueblo, with a 2020 population of approximately 66,852.
