A security guard was shot in the leg early Sunday at 12:37 a.m. at the entrance to La Cima Ciudad Jardín in Caguas, Puerto Rico. According to authorities, two men on motorcycles rode past the guard booth during his shift and fired several shots at the glass.
The guard was struck in his left leg but managed to leave the booth and take shelter in a nearby residence. Paramedics arrived at the scene and provided medical assistance before transporting him to a hospital, where his condition was described as stable.
The investigation is being handled by Agent Figueroa Hernández of the Division of Assaults (División de Agresiones) of the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) in Caguas, and the probe remains ongoing.
