The Bayamón Vaqueros dominated the Caguas Criollos 122-79 on Saturday at the Coliseo Rubén Rodríguez, moving one win away from the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) final. Bayamón led from the start, building a 40-point advantage in the second half. The team shot 66.7% from the field, made 16 of 27 three-point attempts, and scored 34 points on fast breaks and 60 from the bench.
Stephen Thompson Jr. led the Vaqueros with 37 points, 12 free throws, and six three-pointers in 20 minutes. Jassel Pérez added 32 points, four rebounds, and six assists, while Chris McCullough scored 10 points with 57.1% field goal accuracy. For the Criollos, Travis Trice had 16 points and five assists, and Michael O'Connell contributed 10 points and five rebounds off the bench.
The series returns to Caguas for Game 6 on Monday at 8:00 p.m.
