A man was found dead with his hands and neck tied in the Vevé Calzada sector of Fajardo on Sunday morning. The body was discovered on Calle 17, at the intersection with Calle 12, in front of a bakery. According to preliminary information, a citizen alerted authorities to a dead person at the location.
Upon arrival, agents found the man on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds on different parts of his body. The victim has not been identified yet. The circumstances surrounding the crime are still under investigation.
Agents from the Homicide Division of the Criminal Investigations Corps (CIC) in Fajardo, in coordination with the on-duty prosecutor, have taken over the investigation.
