What the numbers say
This week’s rain brought a genuine reversal across the metro system. Carraízo swung from a decline the prior week to a solid climb, with the heaviest rain day, 1.6 in on September 14, followed by the sharpest single-morning gain of the week. La Plata told a similar story: last week’s decline gave way to four straight mornings higher, even though earlier rain on September 9 and September 10 had actually coincided with drops, a sign the ground needed to catch up before the reservoir responded.
