LUMA Energy announced that it will perform scheduled maintenance and improvement work on the electrical system in the municipalities of Gurabo and Villalba this Thursday. In Gurabo, the work will involve repairing and modernizing substations, specifically in the AMGEM sector.
In Villalba, work will be done to remove hazardous vegetation to reduce the risk of interruptions caused by branches and trees near power lines. LUMA recommended that residents of these communities take necessary measures in case of temporary power outages while the work is completed.
