What the numbers say
Carraízo is still trending down over the trailing week, off 1.5 cm a day, but that’s a sharp easing from the 27.7 cm a day pace of the week before — this morning’s chart even showed a 19 cm gain, the reservoir’s one-day streak. It remains 0.52 m above the ajustes line, at 39.02 m, and since the rotation began 31 days ago it has actually gained 149 cm overall. Rain totaled 1.67 in this week, mostly the 0.95 in on September 7, though the next morning’s reading fell 4 cm anyway.
