The week of October 4–10 on AAA’s reservoir charts: Carraízo up 17 cm, La Plata down 27 cm. The numbers first, then what they add up to.
Where the reservoirs stand
16 of 19 reservoirs sit in the Safe band (Seguridad) or above, 2 in the Watch band (Observación); La Plata is in the Adjustments band (Ajustes). Since August 7, Carraízo (Adjustments → Safe), Cidra (Adjustments → Watch), Río Blanco (Watch → Safe), Matrullas (Watch → Safe), Guayabal (Watch → Safe), Garzas (Safe → Spilling) have moved up a band; La Plata (Watch → Adjustments), Guineo (Spilling → Safe) have slipped down. The biggest move since Oct 2 is Lucchetti, up 122 cm to 172.14 m.

What it adds up to
The week’s one real change was Carraízo’s jump of 23 cm on October 8, the morning after 0.8 in of rain. That single gain put the reservoir in the Spilling band (Desborde), its fullest, and it now sits just 0.01 m above the Safe line (Seguridad), so a few dry mornings could push it back down. Cidra also rose, but only in small steps, and it remains in observación, 0.42 m above the Adjustments line (Ajustes).
The rain did not rescue La Plata. It fell on the day-to-day readings there too, but the reservoir dropped on all six mornings and has fallen 18 days running, though the slide is slowing. It sits in ajustes, 3.00 m above the Control line. At the latest weekly pace, that line is more than two months away. That is arithmetic, not a forecast. Cidra’s climb into seguridad is likewise more than two months out at its current rate.
